Very weird argument. So why are they buying them if they don't "need them". And why would that reason change for model 3?

Because they feel they’re safer or cooler. Car companies are able to charge more for them so they’ve been pushing them in every way imaginable. Very weird that you didn’t know this.

You're using a very narrow definition of the word "need", well sure ok. Why would that change for model 3 again?
