The UK already has a well known system of coordinates called the British National Grid (BNG). You'd be hard pressed to find a map printed in the last ~80 years that doesn't have BNG coordinates in it. Replacing it with a new proprietary, closed system that can only be accessed from app is a terrible idea. |
