Because there's a lot of 'progressive'[1] governments that have committed to stopping climate change that are currently: 1. Not committed to turning down existing fossil fuel extraction. 2. Are actively committed to expanding fossil fuel extraction. They need to be called out on their charade, as frequently, and as loudly as possible. [1] Federal Liberal party of Canada. |
