I think this is good for Square. Maybe not a good reflection on their previous, scattered product strategy but they appear to be getting more focus on fairly horizontal services for SMBs. Caviar was always a bit nichey for them. I’m trying to figure out if their Developer API is a chasing-Stripe distraction for them or a good defensive move. |
