Your page is so long and so bad that I left it with the same assumption. Why can't you just have a paragraph explaining what it is, why it's useful and what it supports.

If I don't use any of the existing hook witchcraft, why do I have to go over paragraphs and paragraphs of comparisons of things I am not familiar with?
