Intelligence agents willingly sacrifice much of their personal privacy as a condition of their security clearance, so by selection bias would be more willing to subject others to loss of privacy.

Also, there is no exception in the law for LEOs or intelligence officers, the same rules literally do apply to them.
On paper yes. In practice no.
I wasn't referring to personal so much. More so the conversations they have that they are trying to keep a secret.
