Started programming around 19 years ago, been doing it professionally for a bit over 8, and have been feeling the same thing you describe. Aside from personal projects outside of work, I recently asked to be moved to our maintenance team instea of new development. It surprised my manager, he assumed I'd pefer new development, but so far it's been much more interesting to me. |
