If it were 25 years ago I'd say 'Definitely BSD'. Today, it's 'Definitely Linux'. "Don't reinvent" the wheel." - "If it works, don't fix it" - "Never teach your grandmother to suck eggs" - etc - etc - etc: Never fall victim to the NIH (Not Invented Here) Syndrome. Bill gates had it, it ruined Microsoft. In other words, don't think you can build a better OS than hundreds/thousands of other brains can. |
