Zen launched without any APUs or mobile. When Zen+ came out, the mobile and APU chips were based on Zen. With the Zen 2 launch, it looks to be the same. The APUs and mobile will use Zen+. Zen 3 is supposedly coming early next year using TSMC 7nm+. I suspect we'll see Zen 2 APUs and mobile at that time. Meanwhile, AMD mobile is a decently priced chip for mobile, but not really competitive IMO. |
