I mean, the entire point of Debian is that all of the packages are stable.

If you don't want stable, don't use Debian. Don't knock Debian for working as intended.

Yeah but I find Fedora to be as stable as Debian, but much more current.
So, not stable. Stable in this context means "stable foundation" or "static" and is unrelated to "not crashing".
