The US public consultation on net neutrality was famously skewed by bots (posting identical messages, sometimes on behalf of dead people). On Reddit some topics attract bot like behavior as well (groups of users from a non-US ip block voting and posting in concert). Making it illegal won't stop this entirely but will stifle it. |
