I have posted this before, but please do not think this will ever work. The thing will fall apart (again) as soon as it is exposed to anything but a calm sea. It definitely brought attention to the issue, but that's about all the good it did. I don't blame anyone for having the idea of making something like this, but I do Boyan and his team for seeing it through to implementation when all preliminary and scale model tests showed clearly that they would fail. Talk about a waste of money and bright minds... |
