Wait a second. It's probably true that the average age at which female engineers start programming is higher, and they haven't been programming as long. You are correct that this is not a matter of talent. It's a matter of experience. However, given that all other attributes are equal, why should anyone pick a less experienced person over a more experienced one? The circumstances that lead to that don't matter. |
