I'm not sure I understand your reasoning, why should Google honor noindex everywhere but on .gov websites? What about other countries' government TLDs? What about publicly traded companies? What about personal websites of elected officials? What about accounts of elected officials on 3rd party websites? That seems like a can of worms not really worth opening. |
