I run cable with WISP as fallback, their ping times in pfSense gateway monitoring for 1.1.1.1 are within ~5ms of each other. Point to point can be faster than cable due to fiber/copper running at a fraction of the speed of light. That's why some HFT firms prefer ptp links. |
