I faced the same choice last month and went for the Macbook black. Mainly because of the better specs for a lower price.

If I go for the black I'm pretty sure I will be getting the same model you got.

walterk does have a point... but it's pretty ok... i bought a "crumpler" keyboard protector with it, which can also be used to wipe the screen and "grease" of the surface
