They aren't really moving forward with it, they are implementing an experimental version of it so people can try it in real code. Many things are added temporarily when a new version is in development. Eg. the error handling changes they mentioned were implemented, and then later most of it was removed before the feature freeze. So there's still plenty of time to stop the proposal. |
