You don't need special permits and legislative buy-in to help people either, which isn't the case with mass surveillance. I think this billionaire isn't motivated by philanthropy, they are motivated by money. This is an opportunity to make it, and government officials have an opportunity to suppress undesirables. I don't feel at home in this world anymore. |
