They're not uncontacted, but if you're interested in very different cultures, the Pirahã are absolutely fascinating. There's a brilliant article in the New Yorker about them: https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2007/04/16/the-interprete... Dan Everett, the subject of the New Yorker's article, wrote a book about his experiences with the Pirahã called Don't Sleep, There Are Snakes which is excellent. It's one of my absolute favourite books ever. |
