I actually got curious about this a year ago when I got a dog and she was watching me paint a wall. I made an iOS app* that allows you to see the color spectrum a dog sees, as well as take video and photos. Some weekend I hope to make enough time to add something to represent the short sightedness using image depth data as well as a few other features I would like to add.
