I did a module in my undergrad degree that used Prolog as the learning tool/language. At the time I didn't understand why Prolog was such a different paradigm (declarative); all I remember is feeling a true sense of joy writing prolog code and running it.

I've never found/made up a reason to try it out since then and no language/system/paradigm has given me the same enjoyment since!
