You learn hands-on Electronics (and Embedded Systems) using these types of equipment. If you can afford it i would suggest Digilent's "Analog Discovery 2" (https://store.digilentinc.com/usb-scopes-instruments-circuit...) Digilent has lots of online course material (https://reference.digilentinc.com/reference/instrumentation/...) which you can follow-along to learn Electronics.
