I don't like your reasoning. I think it's selfish. You can always help out for the duration that you are paid for, regardless of tempo. There's almost always work to be done - cleaning up code, commenting, refactoring, documentation (api/sdk usage, help), cleaning up tasks, responding to e-mails, and so on. I don't think it's fair that you idle while someone is paying for your time. Someone, at the end, organized this so you can work remotely. Someone is taking care of you financially, at the end.
The least you can do is do what you have agreed/promised/been contracted to do. |
