Is blind faith the only way to build an idea?

I've been building www.nextcept.com over the last couple of months to help early stage ventures (largely Denver and Boulder) come together. The focus is on off the wall questions to elicit honest responses. Our theory was that the questions would make people think about their answers and share more about themselves and users seem very enthusiastic. Ideally the network would be larger though (1-2k+) to really see true benefits. Sites these days seem to really restrict "self promotion", and I'm curious about how to grow this network without much money - I'm building this because I enjoy helping and working on news ideas/startups. Thanks for any thoughts. |
