The ddos perfomed by Anon is not done by illegaly controlled botnets. The Anonymous are volunteering their own computers for this activity.

Actually, there are also illegal botnets contributing, from some reports.

Maybe. I don't know much about those who were DDOSing wikileaks, I know more about breaking rules 1 & 2.
