Marzipan is an internal framework for running apps written for iPhone on macOS, set to be publicly released to developers this June at WWDC. Since the UI paradigms for the platform differ, it's an open question what will happen in these cases and whether the resultant apps will be of high quality. Many developers predict this as being an opportunity for Apple to adopt a new UI paradigm for macOS apps that matches that of iOS more closely. |
