Bearden was CEO of Hortonworks since 2012, almost 7 years before the Cloudera acquisition. Before that, Springsource for 4. I don't know Singh's reasons behind getting out, but Bearden doesn't seem to play the short game often, he's more of a long-term Open Source strategist. |
