> 16MB of RAM would have been laughable in a workstation in 1999 as well. It wasn't state of the art but I was in high school and still earning free beer by raiding older machines and upgrading friends and families computers to 16MB of RAM. I know it was 1999 and onwards because installing napster was part of a typical job. Not the most affluent crowd though. |
