It's standard, even though it's a bit of a weird concept when you think about it: https://www.adamsdrafting.com/survival/ A common case is an employment contract that has an NDA or non-compete or non-poaching section survive the employment itself. I can't say, "I quit, therefore my employment contract doesn't apply any more, therefore I'm going to push all the company secrets to GitHub and you can't stop me." |
