I dislike the wishy-washy passive construction in their summary graf: > In the massive global network of manufacturers, distributors, sellers, and resellers, it can be nearly impossible to tell who’s actually responsible for getting any given product into your living room. ...because it completely diffuses any sense of responsibility. It's not that "it can be impossible to tell who’s actually responsible." It's that this global network was deliberately designed to make it impossible to hold anyone accountable; as far as Amazon's concerned, that's a feature, not a bug. |
