Those who say kernels should be debugged with print statements inserted into the code should promptly hand in their register and backtrace dumping functions, lockup detectors, memory allocation debugging, spinlock debugging, "magic sysrq key", ... Oh wait; all of that is judiciously inserted print statements. |
