Why would SpaceX run fiber? Wouldn't that be more in the boring company's line?
I don't know. I'm not the one who asked the question. I'm simply clarifying what someone asked.

Alternatively, they could be asking for 'wired' in the where there's a central base station, and each individual home has wired connection to that.

Regardless, I assuming the op _didn't_ mean running a physical wire from a sat in space.

Strictly speaking the boring company is part of SpaceX. Not that this addresses your question.
FWIW, the OP's wording was confusing. It took me a minute to realize that they were talking about something like Google Fiber, not literally running a wire from Earth to an orbiting satellite.
