From a technical perspective, bypassing the ORM is a great solution (and if you can get the number of queries down to one, there’s no longer any need for concurrency). Unfortunately, politically, the kind of shop which fires a dev for choosing another platform is unlikely to approve a PR which bypasses the ORM (maybe also a fireable offense!) |
