Carbon Removal Certificate (CRC): a digital asset, or electronic certificate, that
is stored on the Ethereum blockchain in the Nori application. One CRC represents
one tonne of CO2-equivalent heat trapping gas that has been removed from the
atmosphere and stored in an industrial, terrestrial, subsurface, and/or aquatic reservoir.
