I think you filled in the blanks with a 'new discovery', when your brain could have simply assumed that the title would be "A discovery of a new animal that scares even the Great White Shark!" if there was a new discovery. I think it is click-bait in the literal sense, but not in the negative connotation that click-bait is used today. |
