Bash is the love of my life. However, it has serious weaknesses. Its array/table concept is flawed. You cannot do tables containing tables. Secondly, out of the box it cannot load or invoke functions in libraries. Fortunately, ctypes.sh solves this problem, and to some extent, indirectly, also the table of tables problem. |
