The U.S. House of Representatives passed a measure that would codify into law a $38 billion aid package to Israel. Clearly the US is about many things but ethics and human rights are only fringe concerns, let’s not pretend that Saudi Arabia is their only shady ally.

Believe it or not, Israel is the only democracy in the area (aside from Kurdish Rojava but that one unfortunately isn't recognized as an independent state).
