Don’t know why you were down-voted. It’s quite true that humans have the same kind of vulnerability. Drawing misleading things on the road could kill human drivers, too. It’s not a new threat, it’s just that most people aren’t murderers so it’s not a serious problem.

Because it is not just about adversarial samples. How about old Lane markings, some paint spillover, contrasting color in asphalt, tire marks in snow conditions? They'll all come across as new lanes.

These Lane keeping assist systems are nowhere ready to be called driverless.
