It's a place for the governments of the world to talk and resolve any issue before it becomes a war.

That looks exactly like a social club. And yes, it's toothless by design. But it's not useless.

Because there's only one part of the UN that has real teeth, even in the case of human rights abuses - the Security Council. Guess who holds a permanent seat at the Security Council, and can veto any of their decisions?

The UN is currently trying to get people on the ground to investigate. [1] Whether they can do anything about it is another story entirely.

I read from the article UN is still seeking access to China. That sounds dumb. I mean we're talking about concentration camps here. Didn't Nazis teach us any lesson
