Because there's only one part of the UN that has real teeth, even in the case of human rights abuses - the Security Council. Guess who holds a permanent seat at the Security Council, and can veto any of their decisions?
I read from the article UN is still seeking access to China. That sounds dumb. I mean we're talking about concentration camps here. Didn't Nazis teach us any lesson
