I had never used a side-by-side window manager before but, after seeing a coworker using TotalCommander, I stumbled across Double Commander (https://doublecmd.sourceforge.io/). It's open source, cross platform, and "is inspired by Total Commander and features some new ideas." While I cannot comment on how it stacks up to Total Commander, I've ended up liking it quite a bit. |
