With K8s you are not spared having to understand the cloud architecture, or containers or Linux. You need to know all that and then how K8s works

Whereas something like Lambda in theory you can know less, because it hides stuff from you. You don’t need to understand Linux to use it.

I imagine this would have limited the number of users wanting k8s.
