Ask HN: What advice will you seek from a Principal Engineer?

I am working in one of the FAANGs as senior member of tech staff, have been recognised as a potential candidate for a Principal Engineer Career path.

My manager has connected with a few such to seek their mentorship.

What advice would you seek/questions you would ask in your discussions with your potential mentors?
