It is literally true that muslims are being banned in America. The thread you are responding to said:

That was an American, talking about America. The reason the original person brought this up was because the GP insinuated not trusting Modi because he was banned from entering the US. Currently, certain muslims are banned from entering the US, so it's not a significant measure of credibility.
