You mentioned the Durbin act which limit debit card fees. Since you're exempt from it, I assume you'll be jacking up fees for merchants in order to pay for your rewards program which is basically just a credit card. This might not be a large enough of a pain point to be viable. Actually it might be detrimental to consumers who are living paycheck to paycheck. They rely on an incremental paycheck and short term credit fills the void. |
