Maybe I read the OP wrong but I've never heard of building out and/or holding data center real estate assets. I worked for a large data center and even they leased their buildings. Their customers included government, big banks, large tech (even FAANG level) and they either colo'd or leased space. There are dedicated REITs that hold only high-tech/data center real estate. |
