Google's security is designed to safeguard accounts from usage that would inconvenience Google. It's not designed to provide security to users. It's extremely easy to get locked out, even if you remember your password. Simple use case. You create an account while on VPN. You don't provide a phone. Then you clear your cookies. That's it. If your exit point IP changes, Google will not allow you to log back in even if you know the password. |
