Developing new molecular entities (NME) that do the same thing as already approved new chemical entity (NCE) just for competitive reasons is wasted R&D from the public health perspective. Evergreening and pay-for-delay costs additional billons for pharma companies and it's just zero-sum game between manufacturers. |
