You can go in the opposite direction and get frozen meals that cost ~$5 a piece. I eat a lot of pre-prepared tofu, dumplings (refrigerated, not frozen), fried tofu, meatless meatballs, etc... it definitely bucks the stereotype of salt-heavy "what's in this" frozen food.

Of course, it's still better (and cheaper) to make it yourself. But in a pinch it's nothing to shake a stick at.
