I run one most of the time (IKEv2). I'm in the UK, and do it on principle to stop my ISP storing details of every domain I visit on behalf of government agencies. If I were in the US I'd do it to prevent my ISP selling that data on. (I also thought about setting something up for others, but this is currently 100% vapourware: http://digitalsnorkel.net/) |
