In the same situation (not FAANG, earning a lot less), but been here almost 10 years, in the queue for close to 5 years. One must understand that not all H1B folks are the same. Some are genuinely highly skilled and add a lot to the existing workforce. I do agree, some do not really qualify as highly skilled. Maybe the cap on the annual salary to be qualified for H1B should be higher. |
